Driver Information

General and Class specific rules and entry fees are listed in the sections below.
Payouts- All Classes:
- Final in four in each class will receive their initial buy in money back. The remainder of the buy in will be a 70/30 split for 1st and 2nd.
- All buy back money will go back into the pay-out per class.
- Note: These payouts are calculated on a 10+ car field. Car counts less than 10 cars in a class will result in only paying 1st and 2nd on the 70/30 split.
General Rules:
- The Racemasters (3 designated people) have final say in all calls and discrepancies.
- All races will be 1/8th mile, heads up, from a dig.
- No times will be shown and no time slips will be give pending vote at the Driver’s meeting
- This is a NO PREP race. The track help will maintain the condition of the track throughout the event. If racers want to use their own prep feel free to do so in the designated area.
- All driver and/or driver representatives must attend a mandatory drivers meeting before each round. During the drivers meeting the racemaster will go over the rules and do pairings.
- Engine diapers are recommended, there may be a charge for clean up if you oil down the track.
- Pairings and lane choice will be decided with a chip draw. (First and second round call outs are welcome)
- Each racer can only draw one BYE. (Competition byes do not count towards this.)
- The timing system will be determined at the drivers meeting.
- The red light means the race is over and the win is automatically given to the other driver. Chase is NOT a race.
- At each round drivers meeting, racers will decide on how many burnouts are allowed. Racemaster’s will make final decision if need be. The drivers can burnout past the starting line.
- If you breakdown in the staging lanes and require time to fix your car you may reach out to your competitors and move back in races. If you breakdown on the starting line you have 3 mins to get it going or you lose the race. If you use this to try and burn down the other driver you will be disqualified, this will be determined by the Racemasters.
- Crossing either the center line and/or the outside line will result in disqualification, unless the race is over. (Adding the outside line is for the safety of both drivers)
- If a piece of your car comes off and goes into the other lane IN FRONT of your competitor you lose, unless the race is over.
- There will be ONE 10 minute call to the lanes. When the time between rounds is up, you must be in the staging lane or you can be disqualified.
- All cars must pass track safety inspection and meet the class rules that your are competing in. Driver is required to wear all required safety gear, according to track policies. Track staff will have final say on safety inspection before a racer makes a pass down the track.
- 1st and 2nd round buy back. Note: You can only buy back once
